We knew that there was snow if the forecast, but this much over night? It is pretty as the sun shines on it and makes being inside feel all that better knowing that it is cooooold out.
Sensory play is the best. I always liked seeing their enjoyment (as a preschool teacher and now a mom) of letting them play with things they never would be able to do at home. I try not to worry about the mess as long as it can be cleaned up and isn't permanent.
Walking was a bit tricky in the snow. Well ok he didn't even move because he didn't know how. As he tried he fell right onto his face and got all wet. So funny. It is like kids just know that snow is for eating.
I'v been trying to get lots done as our first year together comes to an end soon. My goal is to have his scrapbook done before he turns 1!!! ( two weeks away) I think that I will make it. Thanks to Abby my sis for coming over this weekend and scrapping with me. She started her x-mas cards and I worked on the two layouts below.
