What is inside the pumpkin?
This was our first pumpkin carving as a family.
:)

EEEEEEWWWW!

Brody didn't seem to mind the grossness.

Dad and Brooks drew the face together.

So proud.
We even made it light up.

(our other pumpkins have golf tee's in them or have been painted. we have got good use out of them all.)

swim fishy swim/first party

Thank you Grandpa for the fish...?.....
Brooks had fun feeding them while they lasted.
Each morning I would find a few more floating.
Enough was enough. Adios. No more.
Fish to me are like a house plant:
Impossible to remember to feed and take care of.
What is the point?
Brooks had is first party at school today.
He had fun playing pin the nose on the pumpkin and having a specail snack.
Every child got a chance to stand up and tell everyone what their costume was.
If you know Brooks then you know his fast gibberish. "kanldkjfoianjgnkrdla"
That was his responce to who he was.
By the end of the day he figured out that he was a "conductor."
A darn cute one if I do say so myself.

Touched my heart to see this today.
He just loves school so much and all the kids.
Why do they have to get so big?!?

school

Brooks has a job at school each week.
One of the possibilities is a "reporter."
They say what they did that day at school and it gets put up on the board with all the info from the day.
Love that I can capture these moments on my phone and keep them forever!

Looking forward to checking out the new Children's Museum tomorrow!

sick little ear

We have been fighting a fever with Brody for 5 days now.
I took him in last night to Urgent Care and we left with two ear infections.
Trying to get everyone back to playing around here.

What a great fall day.
It was comfortable out in just a light coat.

Perfect for pumpkin rolling.

Taking a ride around the house.

Watching your crazy brother play outside.

Oh and showing mom what dad taught you........this is our new bathroom outside!
Boys will be boys.
I can't wait till they tell me at school that Brooks has dropped his drawers and just let loose.
That will be a proud moment right up next to tackling girls at school.

Looks like the weekend is going to be pleasant too.
Looking forward to getting out to celebrate my dads birthday.
Thanks in advance to grandma and grandpa for watching these crazy boys!
Have a great weekend!

This little boy did NOT stop running all weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He has so much fun on the farm with all my boy cousins.
15 boys in a row born in our family so there are plenty to play with.

Good news is everyone is in bed early (bad news is they may be up early then).
