The weather was perfect yesterday for Mother's Day.

The two reasons I celebrated being a mom.

Today couldn't be windier.

We did plastic bag kites outside.

No string to mess with or getting stuck in trees.

Perfect.

Brooks didn't understand to wait for the wind. haha still burned off some energy.

Better late than never!

Easter at the lake was great.

No one was around to see us all outside in our pj's at 6:30 AM.

First peep of his life kept him pretty quiet.

A little help never hurt.

The Easter bunny forgot how tall Brooks was.

Great day to be outside and enjoy a little sunshine. (now it needs to come back!)

Tears start to roll down my check looking at my big boy and thinking of how he has grown.

I am lucky to be there for every moment of it.

He poked the chocolate frosting for awhile and then went for it all.

Yummy.

I am blessed to be your mommy Brody.

I am glad we get to celebrate you every day.

Fast-forward to my big bike ridding boy. It literally took him 24 hours to almost master pedaling. We have to remind to keep his eyes looking up! Guess no street riding until he gets that or we will be crying over parked cars.
