This future is right around the corner.

A little glimpse into the NEAR future.
( minus the big belly)

**4 weeks from tomorrow**

We had so much fun having Kolton and his mommy over last week. It was good for Brooks to see him and we could talk about having a baby in the house. Does he get it? No, not at all. But why not try?

So very excited about the weather coming this week. SUN, SUN, SUN and 70's !! It has been waaaaay too long.

I have a little quality control helping me make sure everything is ready and safe for his little brother.

These days seem long gone of carrying this around.

*We have a nudist on our hands lately. Potty training good. Company over.....???*

A day at the park.

I hope to do some more swinging, climbing, and sliding this week.

If we can see this at the park the SUN must be out!
Swing
Climb

and slide!

That smile never left his face the whole time we where there.

My how they grow. The sandbox in uncovered. (until it snows? this weekend)

This pic is from this week.

This pic is from last May.

Oh Brooks how you are growing. Loving each day we have together. Soon we will have another one to share all the fun with.

We saw this today! The ice is melting and the ferry is getting ready to run. The sun brought us outside today to do some yard work at one of our favorite places to be..........near the water.

We have started swimming lessons again. Lets just say that I have been less than impressed. Maybe it is because he is at such a hard age. He can't be in the water by himself (direction following skills?) and then there are too many younger kids in the class. Oh- well we will stick it out and hope for the best.

Oh my am I sore today after holding 30 lbs for a half an hour. I shouldn't have given up the weights just because "I can." Just like I eat dessert because "I can." (being pregnant) Hopefully daddy can be there next time to help.

Sunday was sunny, yummy, surprising, and productive.

Check out this breakfast: Banana and pb stuffed french toast.

Here is the surprising part: A whole box of cheerios on the table. My first thought grab the camera and then clean it up.

Here is the sunny part. We got to play outside twice. Once in our pj's.
He tried so hard to get ready all on his own. Hat, scarf and shoes all the necessities.

Look at me mom I am going to crash into the snow because I have no idea how to steer and control this. He was so proud that he could do the gas pedal. Now we have to work on keeping our head up and watching.

One more day of sun they say before some rain comes. So we plan on making the most of it today. Maybe I can walk to the end of the road and back without feeling like I ate a bowling ball. If you have been there you know the feeling.

Oh Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun, please shine down on me!

The big purchase! After lots of research this is the winner. It would have been nice to have the top of the line jogger, but OMG the cost on those things! What I want to know is why didn't anyone tell me that they make single joggers that fit your car seat on them? These are so much nicer to have on walks. Yes we have tried it out......with only one child in it. This one I liked that it had snack trays. Some don't for some reason and two individual sun shades. It will also take my car seat on the one side with an adapter. This is the only way that I will getting into a bridesmaid dress 3 short months later.

Claire is getting "so big."(Lindsey's little girl. She is going to be one very soon.)
We had fun playing with Claire and Kolton this week.
These two wouldn't sit long enough to safely put Kolton in the picture.

Yeah to the sun being out and it getting into the 40's!!!!
Enjoy your weekend.

Last week we tried a new play place. Bounce U it is called. He was so excited that he could bounce like Tigger "boing, boing."

Thank you to Aunt Abby for all the help.

Ready to go down the big slide.
We will have to go back and show dad how much fun we had.
